Looks good overall, I just have a few nitpicks (as usual :)):

- Did you get some request for xyokadi? otherwise it does not sound
really useful to me.

- I was about to suggest we maintain a NEWS file which would contain all
user visible changes, making it easier to write release announcements.
This is basically what your ChangeLog-Synthesis provides, except with a
more complicated name :). Would you mind if I rename it NEWS?

- On the other hand, I do not think ChangeLog files are very useful.
Browsing change history with git tools is much more powerful, and I am
pretty sure I will forget to update it. Unless you have some good reason
to keep it, I'd like to remove it.
